Ta'Talu Elementary School

Ta'Talu Elementary School for the Surrey School District was completed in 2024. This project was undertaken in collaboration with DGS Construction as the General Contractor and Prospect & Refuge as Landscape Architect.

Our scope on this project included the following:

• A variety of tree and shrub planting with soils, bark mulch
• Large open multifunctional spaces with both sodded & hydroseeded lawns
• Natural outdoor learn and play features with logs and large boulder
• Hydroseeded meadow area with tall grass and wildflower
• Playground Areas with Engineered Wood Fibre
• All-Weather gravel playfield
• Ronco Rail Fencing surrounding the perimeter of the property
• Gravel Pathways meandering throughout the site
• Site furnishings including bike racks, benches, and in-ground waster receptacles
